“What is uniquely mine to do?”

I was recently asked this questions while on retreat at Kripalu, and it has stayed with me ever since.

In a world that feels overwhelming, divided, and in need of so much, this question reminds me to focus on what is mine to offer. Each of us has a unique part to play—whether it’s engaging in practices that nurture your inner peace and resilience, slowing down to be present with the people around you, listening to others without trying to fix or change them, or sharing your time or talents to uplift your community. Our distinct actions can create ripples of peace and connection that our world so desperately needs.

The following is a poem by a great teacher Mooji that speaks to the peace we can carry within ourselves and share with others. I hope it offers you the inspiration it has brought me:

Go in peace.

And may all those who meet youalong the way be so touched

and inspired by your light, your loving kindness and compassion,

your wisdom and silent presence,

that they are compelled to searchwithin themselves to discover that

which they see in you,and so find everlasting freedom.— Mooji

A different kind of productivity

I had a conversation about productivity this week with a client and it reminded me how common it is this time of year to feel frustrated with our own pace. It makes sense. Our bodies aren't meant to
