Your Summer Movement Plan

Last week I was in Georgia, right now I'm in Newport, next is New York and next week Michigan. Traveling like this means my workouts naturally shift. Personally, I love trying out new gyms, playing with bands and kettlebells outside or finding a spot in the grass for some yoga.

August might not be the right time for a 5-day-per-week gym plan, and that's okay. Taking a break from the gym doesn't mean taking a break from caring for your body. This season invites us to play more, spend time in the fresh air, and explore different ways to move. Instead of trying to replicate your usual routine, I encourage you to lean into movement that feels natural, joyful and feeds your fitness and your spirit.

Maybe it's swimming in the ocean, walking barefoot in the sand, or pedaling through town. Maybe it's hiking to a new view or just wandering around a new place without a plan. All of it is movement that nurtures your body, even if it doesn't look like your usual sweat session.

Consider this your reminder that whatever the rest of your summer holds, keep moving your body—your body will thank you!
