What kind of tired are you?

I took a poll yesterday and 7 out of 10 people said they were inexplicably tired. Expired. Wiped. Done.


Maybe it's the heat, the full moon, a lack of sleep or just life.


I heard a lot of "I don't even know why I'm so tired," but I think somewhere beneath the noise we do know...


I've been thinking about how we live in a world that treats tiredness like a flaw to fix — something to push through, ignore, or override. But, tired doesn't always mean sleep-deprived. Sometimes it means overstimulated and overextended.


Tiredness can be a signal to ask what kind of tending do I need right now?


It might be sleep. It might also be less input. Fewer obligations. Fresh air. A nourishing hobby. A gentler pace.


This week, l invite you to get curious and honor whatever form your tiredness is showing you.

Not as something to "get over," but as something to listen to.
