A Routine That Fits

“Get a routine baggy enough to live in” I came across these words yesterday and I love it, because it beautifully captures what I believe health and well-being are truly about. Health isn't about adhering to rigid rules and restrictions; it's about creating a framework for self-exploration, growth and embracing the richness of life.

As a health professional, I often encounter the misconception that health routines are boring and restrictive. However, this quote challenges that notion by inviting us to create routines that are spacious and accommodating – ones that allow us to truly live and thrive.

So, what does "baggy" mean for you?

Perhaps it's about giving yourself the freedom to adapt your routine based on how you feel each day. Think of your routine as a flexible framework that can be adjusted to meet your ever-changing needs. Consider routines that are portable, ones that fit seamlessly into your life, and those you genuinely look forward to. How do you feel before, during, and after engaging in them?

Notice the impact they have on your mood, energy levels, and daily rhythm. Keep in mind: the best routines are pathways to saying yes to the present and support you in living your best life.
