Bloom In Your Own Time

I allow myself to shift with the seasons.

I allow myself to ebb and flow through different times of my life.

I allow myself to go through cycles and phases like the sun and moon.

I move with grace through my own seasons of life

Seasons of rest.

Seasons of planting.

Seasons of growing.

Seasons of blooming.

Seasons of harvest.

I do not force growth in times when my soul yearns for rest.

I do not force myself to bloom when my roots need nourishment.

I embrace this season, in all that it holds for me.

Whether rest or harvest, I embrace this season for all that it is.

Many of my clients and friends whom I've spoken with this week have felt busy, anxious and tired (myself included!). I love this poem because it serves as a reminder that seasons of our lives can be challenging, yet there is always a season to follow. So, as we welcome the arrival of spring, let's honor the “inner season” within ourselves with acceptance and grace, embracing whatever it may bring – whether it is a time of rest, hard work, or new beginnings.
